3 Days Masai Mara Safari

Day 1: Nairobi/Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from the airport for an early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. This remarkable destination remains one of the few places on Earth where wildlife thrives relatively undisturbed, echoing the numbers that once roamed Africa’s plains and forests. As the northern tip of the expansive Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara is famous for the spectacular seasonal migration of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and their predators. You’ll arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Later, return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, we will embark on a full-day game drive, with a packed lunch provided. The reserve is renowned for its black-maned lions and abundant resident wildlife, making it one of the few locations where you can see the Big Five during a morning drive. Many cheetahs are so accustomed to human presence that they often seek shelter from the sun beneath vehicles, and some even climb onto roofs for a better view of their potential prey. For bird enthusiasts, nearly 500 species have been recorded here, including 16 eagle species, various hawks and falcons, six vulture species, eight stork species, four bustard species (including the kori bustard, the heaviest flying bird in the world), and nine sunbird species.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve/Nairobi

We will rise at 6 a.m. for a sunrise game drive. At 9 a.m., we’ll return to our accommodation for brunch before departing for Nairobi. Lunch will be enjoyed en route, and we will arrive in Nairobi late in the afternoon.
