6 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from your hotel and depart for the Masai Mara, with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for some sightseeing. You’ll then continue on, arriving at the Masai Mara in time for a late lunch. After some rest and refreshments, you’ll embark on an afternoon game drive in the park, which will last until it closes at 6:30 PM. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at your hotel.

Day 2: Masai Mara Full-Day Game Drive

After an early breakfast, you’ll spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara with a picnic lunch. The Mara is the northern extension of the renowned Serengeti National Park. You will visit the Mara River, which forms the boundary between the Masai Mara and Serengeti and is home to a large concentration of wildlife. All meals and overnight accommodation will be at your hotel.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

After a late breakfast, with an optional visit to a Masai village, you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. En route, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in Narok or Naivasha Town. There’s also an optional boat ride at Crescent Island on Lake Naivasha, which takes about two hours. You’ll then continue on to Nakuru, arriving in the evening for check-in at Sarova Woodlands or a similar lodge. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll spend the morning exploring Lake Nakuru National Park, home to thousands of flamingos and over 350 species of birds. The park is also a sanctuary for black and white rhinos and is home to colobus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and several types of antelope. After a game drive, you’ll have a picnic lunch before departing for Amboseli National Park. The journey will take you through the scenic Athi Plains and bush country. Upon arrival in the evening, you’ll have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll go on a morning game drive, offering a great opportunity to photograph Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, weather permitting. You’ll also visit Observation Hill, where you can take in panoramic views of the park. The rest of the day will be spent exploring, with opportunities to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and various bird species. Lunch can either be enjoyed at the lodge or as a picnic in the park, depending on your preference. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at the lodge.

Day 6: Amboseli – Nairobi

You’ll begin the day with a pre-dawn game drive, providing another chance to view Mount Kilimanjaro and spot elephants, lions, zebras, and other wildlife. After breakfast, you’ll depart from Amboseli with a picnic lunch along the way, returning to Nairobi in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport.
