6 Days Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Transfer to Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by a guide who will transfer you to Arusha. After checking in to your hotel, you can relax and unwind. If time permits, you can explore Arusha, visit the local markets, and experience the vibrant city life.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins today with a game drive in the stunning Tarangire National Park, known for its scenic beauty. The park is home to herds of elephants, towering baobab trees, and even African pythons that can be seen climbing trees.

Day 3 & 4: Serengeti National Park

Next, we head to the legendary Serengeti National Park. Along the way, we’ll cross through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll have opportunities to take photographs and enjoy a picnic lunch. Upon arriving at the Serengeti, stop at the Naabi Gate viewpoint to marvel at the expansive plains. From there, enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge or tented camp, where you’ll have dinner.

Serengeti is famous worldwide for its sweeping plains, the annual wildebeest migration, and its impressive predators, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, leopards, jackals, and crocodiles. The name “Serengeti” means “Endless Plains,” a fitting description for this breathtaking landscape.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Today, we journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, descending into the caldera to explore this magnificent environment. This unique ecosystem, set within a dormant volcano, is one of the most striking landscapes on Earth. You’ll have the chance to see the “Big Five” — elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, and rhinos – as well as over 30,000 other animals and a wide variety of birds.

Day 6: Karatu – Arusha – Kilimanjaro Airport

On your final day, take a leisurely stroll through local villages, soaking in Tanzanian culture. Before heading to the airport, we can stop by local markets and souvenir shops for last-minute shopping. If you are extending your holiday, you can continue to the white sandy beaches of Zanzibar to relax amidst pristine natural beauty.
