9 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari & Zanzibar Beach Getaway

Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Our team will provide a quick briefing and answer any questions about the upcoming safari.

Day 2 – Tarangire National Park

We will depart from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park, which spans around 2,600 square kilometers. This park is particularly impressive during the dry season when large groups of migratory animals, including wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands, and oryx, return to the area near the Tarangire River.

Day 3 – Serengeti Central (Seronera)

After breakfast, we will make our way to the Central Serengeti. This area is renowned for its abundant wildlife, especially the “Big Five” – lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos.

Day 4 – Serengeti Central (Seronera)

We will spend the day exploring the Central Serengeti with a picnic lunch, enjoying the remarkable landscapes and observing the diverse wildlife. Serengeti is world-famous for the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras. From July to October, these animals make their perilous journey, crossing crocodile-filled rivers. Witness the dramatic spectacle as nature’s survival of the fittest unfolds.

Day 5 – Ngorongoro Crater

In the morning, we will travel to Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll descend to the crater floor for a day of wildlife viewing. Home to around 20 black rhinoceros and boasting one of the densest populations of carnivores in the world, Ngorongoro is an exceptional spot for observing lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals. With some luck, you may even spot leopards, servals, or bat-eared foxes.

Day 6 – Flight to Zanzibar

After breakfast, we’ll return to Arusha for lunch before taking an afternoon flight from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Zanzibar.

Day 7-8 – Zanzibar Beach

After breakfast, you will embark on a guided tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. As you walk through the winding streets, you’ll uncover the history of Zanzibar’s Arab sultans and admire the town’s distinctive architecture, including its famous doors.

After lunch, we will explore the island’s spice plantations, where you will be enveloped by the fragrant smells of nutmeg, cinnamon, and other spices. Then, you’ll head to Nungwi, where you’ll stay for two nights at a beachside hotel.

Day 9 – Departure

On your final day, unwind by the pool or relax on the beach. In the afternoon, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your onward journey.
